AVOCADO TOAST

There is nothing quite like an avocado toast for breakfast. Or lunch. Or even dinner sometimes! It never goes out of style, or out of nutrients that are so important for us. It’s called a superfood because it provides 20 vitamins and minerals, including vitamin D, folate, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and vitamin E.

This is my go-to breakfast on most days. I enjoy this with a fried egg on the side.

Avocado Toast - A breakfast essential!

Ingredient List

Serves: 2

  • 2 avocados

  • 3-4 toasts (I prefer sourdough or seeded bread)

  • 2 tbsps chopped red onion

  • 2 tbsps cubed tomatoes

  • Handful of seeds, hemp, sesame, pumpkin

  • Grass fed butter or vegan butter

  • Salt, Pepper, Paprika

Let’s Cook!

  1. Peel and slice the avocados

  2. Apply butter on the toasts, place sliced avocados on the top

  3. Season with salt, pepper and paprika, as per your taste

  4. Toss some chopped onion and cubed tomato on the top

  5. Sprinkle a mixture of the seeds

  6. Enjoy with an egg or fruit on the side

You can customise this to suit your preference. Add jalapenos for a spice kick, micro greens on the top for a dose of antioxidants, etc. It’s a simple yet power packed breakfast to start off your day!
